I cannot believe that it is the last day of January. What did I do all month that makes me feel like I have no free time. I have been lax about exercising and watching what I eat. February will need to be better.
Last weekend I went to the Wedding Fair with Ryan and Rachel. They got so many great ideas. I think they have the place, dj, a band for Ryan and a wedding dress fitting all arranged on one day. Rachel has been sick this week so Ryan has taken on some of the duties of the planning. I am proud of him.
Erin is still carrying on!!! She is on the down side of the pregnancy at about 5 months. She has an appointment with her new OB on Monday so hopefully this one will work out and she will like him. She made some letters that spell Aiden to put on his wall this week. Can't wait to see them.
I have just finished my Week 1 Assignments for my Excel 2007 Certification Prep class. I think I am in the swing of things again. I enjoy taking classes - it keeps my mind going.
I need to find a new scanner so I can post some of the pages I have been making. Maybe next week (or when I get back from Chicago) I can start looking for one!
Some scrappy things have been going on in the red room upstairs!! Tonight I finished a layout of Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with Erin and Steve. I am going to spend some time making some Valentines day candy wrappers and cards this weekend. So, tomorrow I must come home and get the house taken care of so that I have plenty of time to have fun this weekend in the red room.
Once again, it is snowing......... I can't even remember how many days in a row it has snowed but I do know that it is at least two weeks. Looks like some serious shoveling in the morning.... maybe even a snow day for Jim.

It's A Boy!!!!!!!!!
Yeah!! Erin called today after her 3D ultrasound. The baby cooperated and we found out that it is going to be a boy. She is so excited. She told Jim tonight she just knew it was going to be a boy. I thought all along a girl because every time I thought of the baby I thought girl. I am so excited either way. Can't wait to see Erin and Steve this weekend.

Monday!
The storm of the century wasn't quite the storm of the century but it did bring about 10 inches of snow to our neighborhood. Jim had to shovel on both Saturday and Sunday!
I came home on Friday about 1:00 PM and we didn't leave the house until it was time to go to work this morning. Neither one of us likes driving when it is snowing and the roads are icy. Lots of home cooking and rest. I actually spent quite a bit of time scrapbooking and finished three two page layouts (Now I just need to figure a good way to photograph them to include in my blog!).

Out with the Old and In with the New!
Well 2007 ended with a bad bang and 2008 started with tears. I think that we have moved past it though.
We spent yesterday laying around watching Basketball, Football and movies in our pajamas. I said we were bums but Jim says it was relaxing and we needed it.
The eggs were too cooked and the juicer made a huge mess!!! Hope my cooking endeavors for this year are going to go uphill from here.
I will try to be a better wife and be more energetic. I guess "Energetic" should be my word for the year. No resolutations as I always fail at that.
